Join a leading manufacturer in the aerospace sector, where precision, safety, and quality are at the core of everything they do. Our client is currently seeking an experienced Aerospace/Aircraft Fitter with a background in structural work to help build complex assemblies for high-performance aircraft platforms.

Duties as an Aircraft/Aerospace Fitter
  • Assemble precision-engineered metallic components into airframe sub-assemblies, following detailed instructions and diagrams.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools to carry out tasks such as:
    • Precision drilling and countersinking
    • Rivet installation (various types)
    • Application of aerospace-grade sealants and bonding agents
    • Insertion of thread repair systems (e.g. helicoils), bearings, and bushes
  • Ensure all work meets rigorous aerospace manufacturing and quality standards.
  • Follow established safety protocols and support a clean, organised working environment by upholding 5S principles.
Experience/skills needed from the Aircraft/Aerospace Fitter
  • Hands-on experience in aerospace assembly, ideally within a structural or airframe setting.
  • Confident interpreting technical drawings and documentation.
  • Knowledge of mechanical joining methods, sealants, and structural fasteners.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong awareness of health, safety, and cleanliness in a production setting.
