Job summary

Optime Group is recruiting Aircraft Cleaners to join our client at London Stansted Airport. You will work night shifts cleaning Jet2 and Ryanair aircraft to a high standard, with a 5 on 3 off pattern, onsite parking and full training provided.

The role is temp to perm based on performance, with weekly pay and staff travel discounts. You will operate cleaning equipment in a fast-paced airport environment and help ensure timely aircraft readiness between flights.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18
• Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Clean Jet2 and Ryanair aircraft to a high standard, ready for the next flight.
• Work as part of a team to clean multiple aircraft during each night shift.
• Clean passenger seating areas, tray tables, overhead lockers, galleys, toilets and floors.
• Meet tight turnaround times between flights without compromising cleaning standards.
• Follow all security procedures and regulations at London Stansted Airport.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and follow health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment at all times.
• Support team members to ensure all allocated aircraft are cleaned and prepared within the required deadlines.

Key Duties

• Cleaning Jet2 and Ryanair aircraft to a high standard, ensuring they are ready for their next flight.
• Working as part of a team to clean multiple aircraft throughout each night shift, including aircraft of various sizes and layouts.
• Carrying out a range of aircraft cleaning duties, including cleaning passenger seating areas, tray tables, overhead lockers, galleys, toilets and floors.
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced airport environment, meeting tight turnaround times between flights without compromising cleaning standards.
• Following all security procedures and regulations at London Stansted Airport.
• Operating cleaning equipment and using cleaning products safely, in accordance with training and health and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment at all times.
• Supporting team members to ensure all allocated aircraft are cleaned and prepared within the required deadlines.

Roster examples

The airport is operational 365 days a year, 7 days a week so full flexibility is required.

As this is an airport role, successful candidates must pass security checks in-line with CAA regulations. These checks include 5-year work and address history, DBS (must have no disqualifying criminal convictions), valid Right to Work.
