Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Technical Supervisor to manage domestic Air Source Heat Pump installations across Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. The role focuses on site surveys, project audits and ensuring high-quality delivery for a new heat pump contract.

You will supervise installation teams, liaise with clients, provide technical support, and ensure compliance with standards. The position offers hybrid working, a salary of £50,000–£60,000, a company van, 28 days

Qualifications

• Experience with domestic Air Source Heat Pump installations.
• NVQ in Plumbing & Heating or BPEC qualification preferred.
• Proven experience supervising on-site installation teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise domestic Air Source Heat Pump installations.
• Conduct site surveys, project audits and heat loss calculations.
• Liaise with clients to ensure high-quality, timely project delivery.
• Cover Gloucestershire and surrounding areas including Herefordshire and Forest of Dean.
• Provide project information and technical support to engineers and customers.
• Act as the main client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist engineers with technical queries and ensure standards compliance.

We currently have an exciting opportunity with an expanding renewable energy contractor specialising in heat pump and Solar PV systems. Following the successful award of a new renewable Air Source Heat Pump contract across Gloucestershire, they are now seeking an experienced Technical Supervisor to manage and supervise new Air Source Heat Pump projects across the Gloucester area within domestic sector.

Technical Supervisor - Job Overview

• Managing and supervising domestic Air Source Heat Pump installations.
• Completing site surveys, project audits and heat loss calculations for Air Source Heat Pump installations.
• Liaising with clients to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
• Working across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas.
• Providing project information and technical support to engineers and customers.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supporting engineers with technical queries and ensuring installations meet the required standards.

Technical Supervisor - Job Requirements

• Strong background and experience in Air Source Heat Pump installations.
• Ideally holding a BPEC Heat Pump qualification and/or an NVQ in Plumbing & Heating.
• Proven experience managing and supervising teams of installers on site.
• Based within a commutable distance of Gloucestershire and surrounding areas.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
