Qualifications

Role Overview:

Responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and repair of ASHP systems within residential and commercial properties. This role requires a reliable professional with detailed knowledge of renewable energy systems who can manage complex problems effectively, communicate proficiently, and adapt smoothly to changes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain renewable heating systems in residential and commercial buildings
  • Perform routine maintenance on heating systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot heating system issues
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
  • Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns
Skills & Experience
  • Valid domestic gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
  • NICEIC Air Source Heat Pumps (essential)
  • NICEIC Water Regulations qualification (essential)
  • NICEIC Unvented Water Systems G3 qualification (essential)
  • NICEIC Energy Efficiency Qualification (essential)
  • Valid UK driving licence (essential)
  • Solar PV / Solar Thermal experience is desirable but not essential
  • Proven, practical experience as an ASHP Renewable Heating Engineer
  • Technical understanding of renewable systems and an understanding of technical aspects of energy and environmental efficiency
  • Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants
