Key Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, servicing, and maintenance of air source heat pumps, hot water cylinders, and thermal storage systems
• Carry out central heating installations and repairs across domestic and commercial sites in Coventry, Reading, Guildford, Oxford, and Cambridge
• Provide on-site technical and practical support to colleagues and apprentices
• Undertake fault diagnosis, system upgrades, and planned maintenance
• Ensure full compliance with PAS 2030, MCS, and Gas Safe standards
• Participate in overtime and call-out duties when required
• Maintain accurate job records and follow health and safety best practice

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in air source heat pump installation jobs within the UK housing or local authority sector
• Strong technical background in domestic and commercial heating systems
• Competence in fault finding, BMS controls, and unvented hot water systems
• Proficiency in a range of pipework installation methods
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Excellent understanding of current renewable energy legislation and health & safety standards

Essential Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Domestic Plumbing (or City & Guilds equivalent)
• Level 3 Award in Installation & Maintenance of Heat Pump Systems (C&G, BPEC, or LCL Awards)
• G3 Unvented Hot Water Cylinder Certification
• Water Regulations Certificate
