  • Safety assessment reports, accident and risk models, hazard analysis and air-system safety arguments.

  • Digitalisation and improvement of aviation safety processes and evidence.

Your role

You will support air safety, airworthiness and certification activities across the lifecycle of military and, where relevant, civil aviation systems. • Produce and update safety arguments, evidence registers and supporting assessments, applying techniques such as FHA, ZHA, FTA, ETA, FMECA and Bow Tie analysis where appropriate.

  • Support the application of ASPIRE and Air Engineer’s Toolkit processes to safety assessment, type airworthiness, certification and in-service change.

  • Assess the safety and airworthiness implications of new capability, equipment integration, modifications and changes in use or configuration.

  • Support airworthiness and safety governance through working groups, reviews and engagement with Delivery Teams, operators, airworthiness specialists and assurance stakeholders.

  • Produce clear technical reports and safety evidence that support certification, acceptance, Release to Service recommendations and continued safe operation.
