Air and Emissions Team Leader

As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Team Leader to join our Environmental Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are looking for a proactive, reliable and flexible Team Leader to join our Air & Emissions team. As a Team Leader you will oversee multiple in field projects, conduct appropriate tests and supervise technicians and trainees. Experience with project management and knowledge of the industry are important in order to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Undertake MCERTS & UKAS accredited industrial emissions monitoring at various client sites on behalf of permit holders and other parties (e.g. Regulators, CEMS manufacturers, consultants), to documented procedures, published standards and protocols and industry best practice
• Produce technical reports following site works for review, sign off and issue to end client
• Provide technical advice and direction in the field of emissions monitoring, and develop staff to maximise their potential

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate

• MCERTS Level 2 with one or more Technical Endorsements
• Degree and/or experience in a scientific discipline preferable/desirable
• A minimum of 3 years’ industry experience

About Air & Emissions

Our UKAS accredited Air & Emissions team work throughout the UK conducting industrial emissions testing.
