Overview

My Client is a national air conditioning engineering company that supplies installations, service, breakdown and PPM HVAC solutions to their end clients.

Role

We are seeking a recently qualified engineer looking to progress their career. You will work out in the field on a daily basis alongside senior engineers covering the following activities:

• Servicing and maintaining air conditioning systems and chillers nationwide.
• Reactive call‑outs.
• Surveying sites for new A/C equipment.
• Planned preventative maintenance across a variety of our clients' estates.

Must Have Qualifications

• Full driving licence.
• Refrigeration / air conditioning knowledge.
• F Gas qualification and NVQ Level 2/3 or other relevant industry‑recognised qualifications.
• Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).
• Familiarity with split‑type air conditioning, VRV’s and VRF’s, etc.
• Knowledge of communication devices.

Salary and Benefits

Salary approx £30k basic, dependent on experience. Includes a company van and fuel card, 21 days holiday, door‑to‑door travel pay, and a £80 weekly standby allowance (1 in 5/6). Overtime will be paid at the appropriate premium.

Working Hours

39 hours per week:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
• Friday: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.

Entitled to a ½ hour lunch break each day.

You will be required to join our stand‑by rota system (1 in 5/6) and may need to work out of hours and weekends as required.
