RGB Network is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to cover Surrey and nearby London on a mobile basis. The role focuses on servicing, fault diagnosis and repair of splits, multi-splits, VRV and VRF systems for a long-established mechanical engineering firm.

Applicants should have at least ten years of hands-on experience, FGAS Cat 1 certification (City & Guilds preferred) and a clean driving licence; enhanced DBS and security checks are required. Pension and company van provided.

Job description

This full time position as an Air Conditioning Engineer – Surrey Cover only suits an experienced mobile refrigeration and air conditioning specialist. Based across Surrey, with occasional London travel, the engineer maintains splits, multi-splits, VRV and VRF systems for a mechanical engineering firm operating over fifty years.

Candidates need at least ten years’ hands‑on experience, FGAS Cat 1 certification (City & Guilds preferred), and a clean driving licence. Enhanced DBS and security clearance checks are required. IPAF and PASMA tickets prove advantageous.

The salary ranges from £45,000 to £48,000 annually, with travel time paid. Core tasks include servicing, fault diagnosis and repair on client sites throughout the region.

My client is a mechanical engineering who have been in operation for over 50 years providing mechanical engineering solutions to their diverse portfolio of clients. They are now seeking a Air conditioning/Refrigeration Engineer to work on a mobile basis across Surrey primarily, with the odd occasion of London cover when required.

THE ROLE:

Mobile position across Surrey area. Mobile RAC Engineer (Predominantly AC) Covering Splits/Multi Splits/ VRV/ VRF’s etc.

Must have 10 years’ experience minimum and FGAS Cat 1 qualification preferably to City and Full clean driving license essential. Must be able to clear an enhanced DBS and security clearance checks IPAF and PASMA preferable.

THE PACKAGE:

£45/48K Basic 40 hours week Monday to Friday. Working hours from 0800 hours to 1630 hours (30‑minute lunch).

• Travel more than 30 minutes at the start and end of day and outside of the core hours will be paid.
• Call Out Rota 1 in 7 paid at x1.5 door to door with £200 per week standby fee paid.
• SSP and SHP (28 days in total including bank holidays).
