Job summary

Calibre Search in Bristol is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across HVAC, plant and building services on a high-profile client site.

You will diagnose faults in VRV/VRF systems, work with refrigerants under F-Gas rules, and use CAFM/mobile maintenance systems, with on-call duties and occasional overtime. A strong mechanical/electrical background is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining HVAC systems across building services.
• City & Guilds level mechanical competence is preferred.
• F-Gas qualification and refrigerant handling experience required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across HVAC, plant, equipment and building services.
• Diagnose and resolve faults across HVAC systems, with a focus on VRV/VRF air conditioning.
• Work safely with refrigerants and ensure compliance with F-Gas requirements.
• Monitor and optimise plant performance using BMS and CAFM/mobile systems.
• Provide mechanical and electrical expertise to the maintenance team.
• Complete risk assessments, RAMS and safe systems of work.
