Job Overview

Full‑time on‑site Air Conditioning Engineer based in Hertford, serving London and surrounding areas north of the River Thames. Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems, diagnosing faults, conducting inspections, performing routine maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain and repair air conditioning systems.
  • Diagnose faults and conduct system inspections.
  • Perform routine maintenance and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with the technical team and clients to provide expert support and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Complete Advanced DBS checks with barred lists checks as required for customer site visits.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in HVAC installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in air conditioning installation/service.
  • F Gas Category 1 licence.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Computer literate and able to use a tablet for paperless reporting, including REFCOM.
  • Great attitude, willingness to learn and develop.
