Job summary

The Abbey is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Commissioning Engineer to join our technical team covering Manchester, Stoke, Staffordshire, the Midlands and North West. The role focuses on commissioning, fault finding and technical support, typically with one planned site visit per day.

You will work independently on-site, report on commissioning outcomes, and contribute to technical documentation while maintaining a balanced Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience with Air Conditioning systems including VRV/VRF.
• Strong commissioning and fault-finding experience.
• Ability to work independently on-site.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning VRV/VRF systems and carrying out fault finding.
• Provide technical support on-site to contractors and installation teams.
• Complete commissioning reports and maintain technical documentation.
• Manage diary and planned site visits; typically one site per day.
• Liaise across the Midlands and North West; report weekly with admin tasks.

Job DescriptionAir Conditioning Commissioning Engineer Location: Manchester / Stoke / Staffordshire Salary: Circa £45,000 + Company Vehicle / Car Allowance Hours: Monday-Friday | No Weekends We're looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a specialist technical team covering the Midlands and North West. This is a little different from a traditional service role. The focus is on commissioning, fault finding and technical support, generally completing one planned site visit per day rather than moving between multiple service calls. Once the job and reporting are complete, you're finished for the day. The Role

• Commissioning VRV / VRF and Air Conditioning systems Technical fault finding and diagnostics Supporting contractors and installation teams on-site Completing commissioning reports and technical documentation Managing your own diary and planned site visits Primarily covering Manchester, Stoke, Staffordshire, the Midlands and North West
  Typically, one site/job per day Friday generally reserved for reports, administration and technical follow-up What We're Looking For Experienced Air Conditioning / VRV / VRF Engineer Strong commissioning and fault-finding experience Confident working independently on-site Manufacturer experience with Mitsubishi Heavy, Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu or similar equipment welcomed Strong technical and diagnostic ability Comfortable covering a regional territory Why Consider It?
