Job summary

A recruitment consultancy is seeking a Test Engineer/QA Engineer in Cambridge. The role requires expertise in QA, strong Python skills, and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks. You will design test plans for AI applications and work closely with Data Scientists. This is an inside IR35 contract, offering around £400 per day with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience into QA.
• Proven experience as a Test Engineer/QA Engineer in AI/ML projects.
• Strong programming skills in Python (pytest, unittest, or other test frameworks).
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test plans for AI/ML applications, APIs, and pipelines.
• Validate machine learning models, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and robustness.
• Develop automated testing frameworks for data pipelines, model training, and inference.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on AI systems.
• Work closely with Data Scientists and AI Engineers to identify and resolve issues.

Inside IR35 contract, 2 x a week in Cambridge, Around £400 per day
