Job summary

DTCC in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior Data Scientist to lead AI research and enterprise-scale initiatives. You will explore generative AI, LLMs, and agent-based approaches, translating ideas into practical prototypes with product and engineering teams.

You will shape the AI strategy, mentor data scientists, and drive end-to-end projects while establishing data governance and measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science or related field.
• 10+ years in data science, ML, or applied AI with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision and AI strategy, including adoption of generative AI and LLMs.
• Hire, mentor, and lead data scientists, fostering growth and high performance.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of data science projects (MLOps).
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business leaders to align data initiatives with ROI.
• Ensure high standards for data modelling, ML algorithms, and analytics.
• Set standards for data collection, quality, and usage across the org.
• Define KPIs and measure the impact of models and data initiatives.
