Job summary

Mastek is seeking an experienced engineer to shape the AI frontier within its Innovation Team in Reading, UK. You will design GenAI solutions, develop Agentic AI systems for automation, and deploy ML models addressing real business use cases.

You will collaborate across teams, mentor peers, and drive AI innovation, POCs, and enterprise transformation initiatives using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and other cloud-native tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years software engineering experience.
• 2+ years hands-on in AI/ML & GenAI solutions.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design and build GenAI solutions (LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering).
• Develop Agentic AI systems for automation and orchestration.
• Build and deploy ML models for real-world business use cases.
• Drive AI innovation, POCs, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build GenAI solutions (LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering)
• Develop Agentic AI systems for automation and orchestration
• Build and deploy ML models for real-world business use cases
• Work with AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS, etc.)
• Drive AI innovation, POCs, and enterprise transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor others
• 7+ years software engineering experience
• 2+ years hands-on in AI/ML & GenAI solutions
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar
• Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, and semantic search
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architecture

Nice to Have

• AWS certifications (ML / Architect)
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD, Responsible AI
• Exposure to multi-agent systems & AI governance
