Job summary

Milltown Partners AI Studio is seeking a communications or policy AI solutions consultant to join the team. You’ll be embedded in client groups, delivering projects across comms, policy and research, and you’ll help build new internal tools that improve the quality and speed of the consulting work.

You’ll own client work end to end, translate technical outputs for non-technical colleagues, and collaborate across the broader practice to keep projects rigorous and impactful.

Qualifications

• Two to six years' experience in a quantitative or analytical capacity in an advisory or service-provider context.
• Comfortable working in tools such as VS Code and GitHub, and confident picking up new technical frameworks quickly.
• A methodical approach to scoping ambiguous briefs and delivering structured, well-defined outputs.
• A track record of bringing rigour to complex, multi-stage projects.
• At least a working understanding of reputation management, communications or public policy, and the ability to operate credibly with non-technical colleagues and clients.
• Experience using AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) effectively and critically in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Scope and structure ambiguous briefs, mapping out a technical approach and success criteria.
• Build in the technical stack to deliver client projects and prototypes (VS Code, GitHub, n8n, Supabase).
• Develop internal AI Studio products and tooling to support client work.
• Lead AI Studio client accounts end to end, translating technical work into outcomes.
• Flex across the wider practice to take on comms, policy or research work when needed.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture with regular knowledge sharing.
