Sopra Steria is seeking an AI Solutions Architect to lead technical design and pre-sales efforts across the UK. You will shape innovative AI solutions and influence technology strategy to help clients realise the value of emerging technologies.

This highly visible, client‑facing role demands strong stakeholder engagement, ability to author bids and proposals, and the leadership of an AI architecture team. You will expand Sopra Steria’s AI capabilities across multiple sectors while representing

Qualifications

• Proven pre-sales experience writing bids and proposals.
• Experience delivering AI solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of AI including ML, Generative AI, AI Agents, AWS AI and Azure AI.
• Experience with AI-enabled digital assistants (e.g., Copilot).
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and MLOps.
• Excellent stakeholder communication to technical and non-technical audiences.

As our AI Solutions Architect within the AI Practice, you'll combine technical leadership, client engagement and strategic thinking to help grow our AI capabilities across a wide range of UK sectors. You'll have the opportunity to shape and own innovative AI solutions, influence technology strategy, and help clients realise the benefits of emerging technologies.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role where you'll work closely with senior stakeholders, lead complex bid activities and support the growth of both our AI Practice and architecture capability. You'll also represent Sopra Steria at industry events and conferences, helping to build our market presence and showcase our expertise.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and develop a high-performing AI architecture team while fostering strong relationships across Sopra Steria.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven pre-sales experience, including authoring bids, developing proposals and helping secure new business opportunities.


• Experience designing and delivering AI solutions within complex enterprise environments.


• Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence technologies, including Machine Learning, Generative AI, AI Agents, AWS AI and Azure AI.


• Experience developing AI-enhanced digital assistant solutions such as Microsoft Copilot.


• Practical experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and Machine Learning Operations (MLOps).


• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Employment Type: Full-time Permanent.

Location: Can be based anywhere in the UK.

Security Clearance Level: Must be eligible for SC clearance.
