Odyssey is an AI lab building general world models. The AI Residency invites post-MS researchers to join embedded teams, work on live projects across simulation, multimodal generation, robotics, or multi-agent systems.

Residents collaborate with senior researchers, run experiments, and iterate with real compute. The program offers a path to a permanent role at Odyssey for successful participants, emphasizing rapid skill growth and rigorous evaluation.

Qualifikationen

• Post-MS or equivalent experience with evidence of ML research work (thesis, internships, open-source, etc).
• Strong fundamentals in ML and software engineering; ability to pick up new subfields quickly.
• Not necessarily world models or robotics experience, but eager to build that expertise on the job.
• Able to work in person at an office in London for the residency duration.
• Motivated by Odyssey's mission: discovering the GPT-3 moment for world models.

Aufgaben

• Work embedded within a research pod on a live project (world simulation, multimodal generation, robotics, or multi-agent systems).
• Tackle scoped roadmap tasks under guidance of senior researchers and engineers.
• Run experiments, build and debug training/evaluation pipelines, iterate with compute behind you.
• Contribute to models shipped and see impact in real-world usage.
• Learn the full frontier research loop: hypothesis, implementation, experimentation, evaluation.
