Job summary

The University of Edinburgh invites applications for a full-time, open-ended academic post at UE09 in the College of Science and Engineering/ School of Informatics, with a salary of £63,606–£78,469 per annum and a 35-hour week.

We seek current or emerging leading researchers, with a PhD (or near completion), a strong research agenda, and the ability to teach undergraduate and MSc courses and supervise projects at UG, MSc and PhD levels in AI.

Qualifications

• PhD or near completion required/very strong progress toward PhD.
• Proven ability to lead research activities and collaborate across groups.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate and MSc courses and supervising student projects.

Responsibilities

• Undertake original research and publish in high-impact venues.
• Teach undergraduate and master's level courses and supervise student projects (UG/MSc/PhD).
• Develop and pursue a high-impact AI research agenda aligned with department interests.
