Job summary

American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) is seeking an AI Consultant to join our Europe AI Practice, based in Warrington or London with some remote flexibility. This full-time role coordinates AI project lifecycles, aligning client needs with technical teams across strategy, solutions and execution.

You will engage across cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), data analytics tools, and enterprise delivery practices, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes for maritime/industrial clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in technical or engineering-focused environments supporting structured project delivery
• Proven track record coordinating activities across multiple teams and projects simultaneously
• Experience collaborating with IT, OT, data/AI, or engineering teams in enterprise or industrial settings
• Exposure to cloud-based and data/analytics platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) with maritime/industrial sector experience as a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day communication with clients, capturing requirements and providing updates
• Support the project manager in planning and tracking delivery across multiple AI projects
• Translate client needs into clear tasks and monitor execution against timelines
• Troubleshoot delivery issues and maintain quality and standards
