Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking Lead Engineers for a new AI Productivity Lab within the Chief Technology Office. This hands-on role will build domain-specific agents and tools, prototype rapidly, and embed solutions into business processes across the enterprise in a secure, scalable way.

The position operates in a hybrid pattern with a 35-hour week, with office days across Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds or Manchester, and the team focuses on GenAI, agentic technologies, and reusable assets,

Qualifications

• Experience deploying technology solutions in complex environments.
• Hands-on GenAI and Agentic AI experience.
• Familiar with agentic coding and coworking tools; quick learner.
• Knowledge of AI risk in regulated environments (reliability, security, safety, explainability).
• Strong collaboration and ability to contribute reusable assets.
