Job description

Our client is one of the UK's leading tech and AI training providers, working with many of the UK's and the world's largest organisations. Now they're building out their AI portfolio and need an AI Commercial Product Manager to find the next opportunities and get them to market.

You’ll sit at the centre of a matrix structure, working hand in hand with Portfolio Directors and Curriculum Managers who own product strategy in each portfolio. Your job is to find the commercially viable AI learning opportunities, prove them out, and turn them into propositions ready for development and launch.

You’ll be the link between market demand, product development and the go-to-market teams. Sales, Marketing, Delivery, vendor partners and subject matter experts. Lots of stakeholders, one clear focus: AI learning products that sell.

What You’ll Be Doing
Find the Opportunities
  • Spot new and shifting AI learning opportunities across technologies, roles, industries and business functions
  • Get under the skin of customer buying trends and future skills needs
  • Analyse competitor offerings, pricing, positioning and product strategies
  • Track adoption of foundation models, AI engineering frameworks, agentic AI, multimodal AI and enterprise AI platforms
Build the Business Case
  • Test the commercial feasibility of new AI programmes across instructor-led learning, apprenticeships and digital, before any investment is made
  • Prioritise cross-cutting and multi-portfolio opportunities
  • Keep the portfolio aligned to where the market and customer demand are heading
Shape Propositions and Take Them to Market
  • Turn validated opportunities into well-defined product propositions
  • Define clear audiences and channels, and work with Sales and Marketing to land them with clients
  • Support new partnerships with AI vendors
  • Monitor product performance after launch and find routes to enhance and expand
Keep the Business Informed
  • Watch the AI market for new technologies, platforms and industry developments
  • Produce regular market intelligence reports that steer portfolio direction

  • A solid grasp of the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch and ongoing improvement
  • Experience working with Sales, Marketing, Delivery, SMEs and senior stakeholders
  • Confidence using market trends, customer feedback and performance data to make product decisions
  • Strong commercial awareness across revenue growth, profitability and ROI
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • The organisation to juggle multiple priorities while the market keeps shifting
You’ll Stand Out If You:

  • Early finish at 4pm on Fridays
