Job summary

Granola is seeking a Product Designer to invent the future of AI-powered work tools in London. You’ll help evolve a multiplayer, multi-platform product with a design-forward founding team that values great user experiences and rapid iteration.

You’ll prototype, test, and ship features with engineers, shaping design workflows and culture. This is a senior/staff-level role in a startup, focused on craft, interaction, typography, and motion.

Qualifications

• Spent several years shipping beautifully designed products to real users.
• Think of this as a senior/staff-level role.
• Systems thinker who’s worked on open-ended tools before.
• Know when to be scrappy, and when to hone in on the details.
• A natural prototyper: you believe in trying it to see how it feels.
• Drawn to figuring out problems in code and AI tools.
• Measure your designs by what shipped, not just a Figma file.

Responsibilities

• Work on early feature definition, and sit shoulder to shoulder with engineers to ship features and market them to the world.
• Level up the fit & finish of our product; craft a beautifully crafted experience used daily.
• Spend hours each week with users testing use cases and gathering feedback.
• Prototype, test, iterate with explore and exploit modes using AI tools and design languages.
• Evolve our brand and design language, applied consistently across the product.
