Qualifications

• NCTJ qualification or equivalent journalism experience.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong understanding of digital publishing and audience development.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Enthusiasm for AI and emerging technology.
• Ability to learn new tools, platforms and workflows rapidly.
• Willingness to experiment, test and innovate.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging trends and viral topics relevant to London audiences.
• Monitor trends across Google Trends and social platforms.
• Produce high-volume, accurate content for websites and social channels.
• Create compelling headlines and intros to maximise readership.
• Use audience analytics to inform publishing decisions.
• Produce content designed to perform in search and social feeds.
• Utilise AI tools to ideate, research and draft stories.
