Job summary

Fanvue.com is seeking a Software Engineering Intern in the UK to tackle real engineering problems alongside senior engineers. You will own features end-to-end on a TS/Node.js/Go stack, with dedicated mentorship and a focus on AI-powered product capabilities.

You will contribute to shipped product work, experiment with LLMs and AI tooling, and present your work at the placement end. A strong foundation in CS or related studies is essential, with a fast-learning mindset and drive to ship.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed Computer Science or related degree.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and problem solving.
• Willingness to learn and iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver features end-to-end on our TypeScript/Node.js/Go stack with mentor support.
• Contribute to real shipped product work, not sandbox projects.
• Build AI-powered features for creators (chat, content generation, personalization, moderation).
• Leverage AI coding tools to ship faster and become fluent in AI-assisted development.
• Experiment with LLMs, embeddings, and vector databases as part of product development.
• Ship fast, iterate based on feedback, learn from production.
• Collaborate with product, design, and senior engineers.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decisions to learn our approach.
• Present your work at the end of the placement.
