Job summary

Accenture Song is seeking an AI Commerce Search Sr. Engineer/Architect in London to lead the design and delivery of Google-powered AI commerce experiences. You will own the technical design, guide engineers, and articulate trade-offs to clients.

You will work at the intersection of enterprise commerce platforms and Google's agentic AI stack, delivering scalable, grounded AI systems with governance and observability baked in.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in technical architecture.
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering AI-powered search, discovery, or recommendation systems in production.
• Experience with Google Cloud AI platforms applied to commerce (Vertex AI, Gemini, Agents).
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and agentic systems (LLM design, RAG).
• Experience building data/context pipelines for AI systems (embeddings, vector stores, semantic search).
• Delivery on major enterprise commerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, MACH stack).
• Familiarity with agentic commerce protocols (MCP, A2A, ACP).
• CI/CD delivery in cloud environments (GCP preferred).
• Understanding of AI governance, observability, and responsible AI.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design of AI-powered commerce search and discovery workstreams on Google Cloud stack.
• Design on-platform agentic commerce experiences (conversational commerce, personalization, merchandising).
• Architect data architecture for search/AI (structured data, embeddings, vector retrieval, semantic search).
• Lead integration between Google AI surfaces and enterprise commerce stack (OMS, PIM, DAM, CRM).
• Lead GEO / AI-native discoverability design for AI-driven discovery surfaces.
• Contribute to build-vs-buy decisions on Google AI platform services and model governance.
• Provide technical leadership to delivery teams and run architecture reviews with clients.
• Present options with trade-offs and business outcomes to technical/non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to Accenture Song's AI commerce capabilities and accelerators.
