Job summary

Uncover is hiring a Platform Engineer to join our London office. You’ll own and shape the platform that powers our AI research, focusing on scalable Kubernetes, GPU orchestration, and robust cloud infrastructure.

In this foundational role, you’ll define architectures, improve developer environments, and ensure reliability across thousands of GPUs. You’ll collaborate with researchers to speed experimentation and progress.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale Kubernetes deployments and container orchestration.
• Hands-on GPU scheduling and cluster management experience.
• Proficient in cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud) and infrastructure tooling.

Responsibilities

• Manage Kubernetes clusters and deploy internal tools.
• Handle GPU scheduling at scale to keep thousands of GPUs productive.
• Improve infrastructure resilience and prevent outages in a large-scale environment.
• Work with Google Cloud and other major cloud providers.
• Develop observability that delivers actionable insights with Grafana/Datadog.
• Build developer environments with modern tooling to accelerate work.
• Write clean code in Python and Rust for infrastructure tools.
