Job summary

Leonardo is recruiting AI Platform Engineers in the UK to help shape, build and operate the infrastructure for our AI platform. You will own the platform layer above managed GPU infrastructure and enable secure, reliable access to AI models and inference services.

You will deploy scalable inference services using containers, Kubernetes and AI gateways, improve observability, and help establish engineering standards for operating AI services in a secure enterprise environment, including

Qualifications

• Experience operating shared or business-critical platforms.
• Familiarity with large language models and running them.
• Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and performance issues.
• Infrastructure as code and CI/CD familiarity.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the platform layer above GPU infrastructure and related services.
• Deploy and operate scalable inference services with containers and Kubernetes, ensuring security and performance.
