Job summary

Mindstone is seeking an AI-native Product Engineer in London, joining a hybrid, high-growth team at the forefront of AI transformation. You’ll build real product features across Rebel end-to-end, work with LLMs, agents, and MCP integrations, and grow through hands-on ownership from day one.

We welcome diverse backgrounds and value curiosity, self-direction, and practical AI experience, with a 2 days/week minimum in London.

Qualifications

• Shipped something with AI: a project, a tool, a prototype - anything real.
• You think AI-first about software: you use Claude, GPT, Cursor, or similar as part of how you work.
• You have some coding ability and are ready to grow fast.
• You are curious, self-directed, and not waiting for permission to build.
• Based in or near London, 2 days/week minimum

The Role

We are looking for an AI-native Product Engineer - someone who thinks differently about what building software means right now. You might be a recent grad who has been shipping personal projects with AI. You might be an engineer at a company not yet fully using AI, and have been the person pushing it forward. You might be a data scientist or analyst who has crossed the line into code. What matters is drive and AI-first thinking.

What You Will Be Doing

• Building real product features across Rebel end-to-end, with support and guidance from senior engineers
• Working with LLMs, agents, and MCP integrations from day one
• Learning by shipping: we believe the fastest way to grow is to have real ownership
• Contributing to our open-source ecosystem
• Helping shape how a small, high-trust team builds at the frontier of AI

About You

We care less about your CV and more about how you think and what you have built.

• You have shipped something with AI: a project, a tool, a prototype - anything real
• You think AI-first about software: you use Claude, GPT, Cursor, or similar as part of how you work
• You have some coding ability and are ready to grow fast
• You are curious, self-directed, and not waiting for permission to build
• Based in or near London, 2 days/week minimum

You might be a recent grad, a self-taught builder, a data scientist or UX designer who has crossed into code, or an engineer at a company that has not caught up with AI yet. Non-traditional backgrounds are genuinely welcome - we are looking for people, not CVs.
