Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland is seeking an AI/ML Computational Scientist to design, build, and operationalize AI/ML solutions for enterprise clients, combining custom models with cloud services to deliver production-ready outcomes.

The role spans the full solution lifecycle—from assessing client needs and data to selecting and customizing models (including Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models) and designing scalable data and MLOps/LLMOps pipelines for training and production,

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a machine learning engineer or scientist, deploying models in production at scale.
• Experience in distributed computing systems and cloud environments.
• Experience building and deploying AI/ML based software to a cloud environment.
• Strong foundation in computer science including system architecture and programming.

Responsibilities

• Formulate real-world problems into practical, scalable AI/ML solutions.
• Develop and implement ML algorithms, models, and scalable data pipelines with DevOps & MLOps.
• Customize Deep Learning and Gen AI models for business use cases, including edge devices and HPC.
• Engage in R&D of AI/compute algorithms and simulations for client-site applications.
• Work with large-scale datasets and apply data preprocessing for high-quality training data.
• Justify the value of model approaches in business problems.
• Collaborate with biz and tech teams to deliver end-to-end production deployments.
