Job summary

Berry Bros. & Rudd Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks an AI Platform Lead who owns the agentic platform end-to-end from architecture to guardrails, and collaborates with AI Business Owners to deliver capabilities while managing costs and vendors.

The role sits at the top of the Central/Enabling team, with the AI Ops Engineer reporting into it. Hybrid working is available with a mix of in-office and home-based days, and you will engage with internal and external partners to drive secure, scalable

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in AI/ML engineering.
• Proven experience in prompt engineering and guardrails design.
• Experience with API integration and system architecture.
• Experience in agent monitoring and performance management at platform level.
• Experience of enterprise platform governance.

Responsibilities

• Owns platform architecture and guardrails.
• Owns the agentic platform end-to-end including cost and vendor management.
• Deliver new and enhanced capabilities in conjunction with the AI Business Owners.
• Sets the governance standards that AI Ops Engineer monitors against.
• Provides the technical input into the AI Roadmap.

The job in a nutshell

Owns the agentic platform end-to-end from a technical and delivery perspective - architecture, guardrails, working with business leads on design and costs and also with vendors. Sits at the top of the Central/Enabling team, with AI Ops Engineer reporting into it.

Who you will work with

Internal: AI Ops Engineer; Solutions Architect; Head of Cyber Security, Application Support, Infrastructure and Data teams; AI Business Owner; process area leads (Buying & Order Planning Lead, Offers Lead, Customer Contact Lead) as the agent-owning counterparts across the business

External: Agentic platform vendors; Suppliers & SaaS Providers

3rd party business application partners

What you will do

• Owns platform architecture and guardrails
• Owns the agentic platform end-to-end including cost and vendor management
• Deliver new and enhanced capabilities in conjunction with the AI Business Owners
• Sets the governance standards that AI Ops Engineer monitors against.
