Government Recruitment Service in Edinburgh is seeking a Senior Executive Officer to lead horizon scanning and intelligence gathering across AI policy, public data, GDPR reform and other emerging digital policy areas, shaping Smart Data strategy.

You will translate complex information into clear, actionable insights and work across government departments to inform planning and the SR28 process while coordinating cross-sector use cases.

Qualificações

• Analytical policy professional with ability to translate complex information into clear insights.
• Experience in horizon scanning and intelligence gathering across AI and digital policy areas.
• Ability to work across government departments and with senior stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead horizon scanning function and monitor developments in AI policy and related areas.
• Produce regular intelligence notes and briefings for senior leads.
• Act as day-to-day link between innovation and strategy workstreams.
• Own cross-sector use cases, maintain records and track progress.
• Support engagement with Cabinet Office, Home Office and HMRC, preparing briefing material.
