Job summary

University of Oxford's Bodleian Libraries is seeking an enthusiastic information specialist to join the Information Skills team as we transform information literacy support with a focus on AI. You will help develop and deliver the iSkills programme and create guidance on responsible AI use in research.

The role is fixed-term for 3 years, full time (37.5 hours per week) with hybrid working. You will collaborate across the University to shape AI policy, digital literacy and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree level education or equivalent professional experience.
• Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning gained through study or professional experience.
• Proficient information retrieval and critical evaluation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the iSkills programme.
• Create guidance and training on responsible AI use in research.
• Explore innovative AI tools and support discipline-specific AI for departments.
• Collaborate across the University to shape AI policy, digital literacy and emerging technologies.
