Job summary

Google Cloud Public Sector is seeking an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with highly regulated customers, delivering production-grade AI/ML solutions. You will bridge frontier AI with customer environments, coding, debugging, and shipping bespoke agentic solutions within client systems.

You will lead deployments, tackle integration challenges, data readiness, and state-management issues, and provide critical feedback to shape Google Cloud’s product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 35 years of experience? : ignore
• 8 years of software development experience in Python or similar.
• Experience delivering production AI solutions on cloud platforms (GCP) and architecting AI systems.
• Experience building data pipelines with vector databases and RAG architectures.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Ability to obtain UK SC security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead developer for AI applications, moving prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Architect and code connective tissue between Google's AI products and customer infrastructure.
• Build evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for accuracy, safety, latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and convert them into reusable modules or feature requests.
• Co-build with customer engineers to ensure long-term project success and adoption.
