Job summary

Outlier is an AI training platform used by Scale AI. We seek detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media by roleplaying live conversations with an AI voice model and scoring each exchange. You will explain in writing what looked or sounded off, remotely and on your own schedule.

This freelance/independent contractor position offers flexible hours, weekly payments, and potential bonuses through Missions. Applicants from the United Kingdom are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and careful scrutiny of content.
• Ability to think on your feet and articulate decisions clearly.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to make clear choices when two options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge which follows the prompt better.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like distorted motion, text errors, or audio-video mismatches.
• Write explanations in English detailing what you observed and why.
