Job summary

Board Intelligence is seeking a skilled software engineer to join the AI team as its dedicated engineer. You will design and build the AI evaluation suite and related tooling, working across the full stack from data pipelines to frontend interfaces.

You will collaborate with prompt engineers and SMEs to turn expertise into tests, metrics and tooling. You do not need deep AI/ML experience; the team will help you up to speed.

Qualifications

• Upper mid-level to senior software engineering experience.
• Experience building AI powered products or tooling.
• Full-stack experience across frontend and backend.
• Comfort with ambiguity and independent work.
• Experience collaborating with non-engineers and turning their expertise into software.
• Strong focus on quality, testing and attention to detail.
• Experience using AI coding tools in day-to-day work.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design and build our AI evaluation suite and related tooling.
• Build across the full stack—from data pipelines to frontend tools.
• Collaborate with prompt engineers and experts to translate knowledge into tests and metrics.
• Help define metrics for AI quality and SDLC integration.
• Automate evaluation processes so product teams can ship confidently.
• Over time, contribute to AI-powered product development.
