Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a Senior Software QA Test Development Engineer to advance scalable, AI-enhanced QA workflows across Linux, containers, and Kubernetes. You will design automated testing, build tools, and drive data-informed quality across distributed systems.

The role emphasizes ownership, mentoring, and collaboration with engineering teams to deliver durable solutions and reduce release risk through automation and AI-assisted testing.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in CS, Electronics or related field with 5+ years QA experience.
• Hands-on QA/SDET/test-development experience with production-quality automation.
• Strong programming skills in at least one modern language for test engineering; clean, maintainable code.
• Practical experience designing end-to-end SWQA workflows and automation frameworks.
• Strong Linux expertise; experience testing software with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of quality methodologies: risk-based testing, observability, regression, release criteria.
• Ability to debug multi-layer failures across app, services, infra, networking, deployment.
• Proven technical ownership: define problems, align stakeholders, deliver solutions, measure outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to influence through technical rigor.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and evolve scalable end-to-end SWQA workflow, automated test frameworks, infrastructure, and tooling.
• Define test strategy and quality gates across functional, integration, regression, reliability, and release-validation workflows.
• Build and maintain automated coverage for Linux-based, containerized, and Kubernetes environments.
• Investigate difficult failures; isolate root causes and work with development teams toward fixes.
• Establish quality metrics, improve signal-to-noise, and use data to prioritize engineering investments.
• Drive automation efficiency with reusable frameworks and AI-assisted workflows.
• Raise technical capability through code reviews, design reviews, documentation, and mentorship.
• Take ownership of ambiguous, cross-functional quality problems and deliver durable solutions.
