Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a detail-oriented Functional Tester in the Greater London area to validate end-to-end application functionality, business workflows, integrations, APIs, authentication, data, and AI-enabled capabilities. The role focuses on delivering release-quality solutions through thorough test design, execution, defect management, and stakeholder collaboration.

The candidate will perform API and integration testing, authentication testing, AI output validation, and accessibility

Qualifications

Experience in functional testing, test case design, and requirement traceability.
Proficient in API and integration testing and end-to-end workflow validation.
Understanding of authentication like OIDC/OAuth/SSO.
Experience testing AI-enabled apps, including AI output validation and AI-generated documents.

Responsibilities

Functional testing, test case design, requirement traceability, and workflow validation.
API testing, integration testing, and validation of end-to-end business processes.
AI output validation, AI recommendation testing, golden dataset validation, and AI document generation testing.
Defect lifecycle management, regression testing, test evidence, and release readiness validation.
Accessibility testing (WCAG 2.2 AA) and stakeholder/UAT coordination.
