The role focuses on developing an uncertainty-aware digital twin and AI control architecture, merging protein descriptors with physics-informed models and multimodal metrology, enabling data-driven process control and scale-up for architected materials.

Qualifications

• Essential capabilities include machine learning or statistical modelling for physical systems, quantitative model validation, scientific programming and reproducible data workflows, and effective multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Develop the project's uncertainty-aware hybrid digital twin and AI control architecture.
• Combine descriptors with reduced-order or physics-informed models and multimodal metrology for process control.
• Diagnose process drift and recommend parameter corrections to support route down-selection and SPC.
• Collaborate with researchers across protein design, nanocrystal synthesis, flow chemistry, printing, biomineralisation, magnetics and batteries.
