Job summary

Energym is seeking a practical, ambitious engineer to join our founder on new connected hardware products across fitness, wearables and smart technology. You will design, build and test prototypes integrating mechanical, electronic and software systems, with hands-on responsibility from concept to working prototypes.

You’ll use 3D printing, sensors, microcontrollers and Bluetooth, work with AI tools to accelerate development, and help move projects toward production while actively researching

Qualifications

• Passionate about building products from concept to working prototypes.
• Owns the process from design to testing with hands-on initiative.
• Solid understanding of electronics and PCBs; able to test and fault-find.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and test prototypes combining mechanical, electronic and software elements.
• Consider ergonomics, controls, interface and user experience.
• Operate 3D printers, electronics benches, and test rigs; organise lab workflows.
• Prototype connected apps, ensure reliable pairing and setup workflows.
• Collaborate with suppliers and engineers on cost, quality and practicality.
