Job summary

Orbis Group is seeking a UX / Front-end Engineer to join their rapidly growing FinTech front-end team. You will design and develop web applications in React and TypeScript, collaborating with quants, back-end and platform engineers to build the firm’s core platform.

This role offers the chance to take project ownership on key features for Trading, Investment and Analytics, and to explore AI-led tooling to push the boundaries of front-end development.

Qualifications

• Around 3+ years’ commercial experience building web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Excellent hands-on experience with state management (Redux, Zustand or React Query / TanStack Query).
• A genuine enthusiasm for, and experience using AI in your development workflow (Claude Code, Cursor).
• Experience building data-heavy interfaces such as large tables, charts or dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Delivering modern front-end features in React/Typescript across core product suites.
• Collaborating with Quants and leadership on requirements for financial applications.
• Embracing AI-led techniques to build an industry-leading front-end toolkit.
