Job summary

RSM UK Deal Services is seeking a capable Business Analyst to support AI-powered automation within the Internal Tax Technology team. You will drive end-to-end business analysis, from requirements to UAT, aligning with data automation roadmaps and working closely with stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams.

The role emphasizes discovery, documentation of use cases and user stories, and ensuring traceability across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a tax role.
• Strong experience working in release-based or agile delivery models.
• Ability to translate complex technical solutions into business-friendly language.
• Strong process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation skills.
• Experience in data transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions, refinement workshops, and stakeholder interviews aligned to Data Automation milestones.
• Document high-level and detailed business requirements for the Tax service line.
• Define and document use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and non-functional requirements.
• Support backlog refinement with clearly defined requirements and dependencies.
• Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability across analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with architects and delivery teams to reflect business requirements in designs.
• Support UAT planning, create test scenarios and scripts, coordinate execution and sign-off evidence.
• Identify dependencies, assumptions, risks and issues; escalate as needed.
• Act as a key interface between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
