Job summary

NTT DATA UK&I is seeking a Generative AI Specialist to design, implement, and deploy AI solutions with a focus on GraphRAG using AWS and Azure technologies. You will adapt deployment approaches for customer environments and collaborate with offshore AI developers globally.

Applicants should have a technical data engineering background, knowledge of AI ethics and data safety, and the ability to communicate complex approaches clearly. Security clearance (SC) is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Deploy the GraphRAG solution into new customer tenants using a reusable, well-documented method.
• Onboard customer documents and check that diagrams and other visual content are parsed appropriately.
• Configure LangChain workflows for vector processing and knowledge graph extraction, and develop agents that generate useful outputs from existing knowledge graphs.
• Design, test, and refine prompts so customers can find relevant information effectively.
• Investigate deployment and data-processing issues, apply sound engineering practices, and contribute ideas for improving the solution.
• Work collaboratively with offshore colleagues, share knowledge with AI developers across the organisation, and support the COE as its project portfolio and responsibilities grow.

About The Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Generative AI Specialist to join the Gen AI Centre of Excellence (COE) at NTT DATA UK&I. You will help design, implement, and deploy AI solutions, ideally using AWS technology, with a focus on a GraphRAG solution. This work will provide a practical foundation for contributing to a wider range of innovative projects across the COE.

You will adapt a reusable deployment approach for customer environments, prepare customer documents for use in the solution, and develop the processes that connect information to useful AI-generated outputs. The role involves close collaboration with offshore teams and AI developers around the world. Applicants must be eligible to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.

Qualifications

You will bring a technical data engineering background, curiosity about emerging technologies, and the drive to apply them to new challenges. You should be comfortable investigating and solving technical problems independently, with limited oversight, and able to communicate your approach clearly to colleagues and customers.

We are looking for an understanding of artificial intelligence, AI ethics, and data safety when using large language models. Experience with AWS or Azure is required. Relevant AWS services and tools may include boto3, Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, S3, and EC2; relevant Azure experience may include Azure OpenAI Service and Cosmos DB.

Useful technical experience includes Python, LangGraph, Neo4j and Cypher, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), GraphRAG, few-shot techniques, vector processing, graph extraction, embedding models, and large language models. Understanding how models work and are trained is valuable. Experience with other programming languages or frameworks, such as Java or .NET, is also beneficial.
