The Senior AI Consultant will work on AI, data and emerging technologies, solving business challenges and driving digital transformation across complex client projects.

Senior AI Consultant | Belfast

VANRATH is partnering with a leading professional services and technology organisation that is continuing to grow its AI and Data capability. They're looking to add talented technology professionals to a team delivering innovative solutions across complex client projects.

This Senior AI Consultant role offers the opportunity to work with organisations on AI, data and emerging technologies, helping solve challenging business problems and deliver meaningful digital transformation.

We're ideally looking for someone with around 5 years' relevant experience across AI, data, technology consulting, intelligent automation, software development or a related field. Strong technical, analytical and client-facing skills are important.

However, the team is expanding and is open to candidates at different levels. If you're slightly more junior, there may be opportunities to join at an alternative level and develop your career. Equally, experienced professionals interested in mentoring others and helping shape a growing capability are encouraged to get in touch.

Essential Criteria

• Around 5 years' relevant experience in AI, data, technology consulting, intelligent automation, software development or a related discipline
• Experience working with modern AI and/or data technologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management capabilities
• Ability to translate business challenges into effective technical solutions
• Confidence explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• A proactive approach to learning and keeping up with emerging technology
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a wider consulting or technology team
• Right to work in the UK - no sponsorship available

Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks is highly desirable and would be ideal for this position.

Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI or Copilot Studio would also be advantageous, although not essential.

We're open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including AI, data engineering, intelligent automation and technology consulting.
