Job summary

ConnexAI is seeking an AI Data Annotator to create and refine speech and text datasets for training state-of-the-art AI models. You will review machine outputs and ensure high-quality annotations, working closely with data scientists to maintain data quality and project standards.

The role requires on-site presence in Manchester, with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in a fast-paced data lab environment.

Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in text and audio.
• Experience with audio transcription, annotation, or similar tasks.
• Proficient with in-house data labelling tools and meeting deadlines.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and long periods of focused work.
• Strong linguistic or cultural knowledge and interest in AI and language.
• On-site in Manchester 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and refine high-quality speech and text datasets for training and evaluating AI models.
• Correct and assess machine-generated outputs to improve ASR, TTS, LLM performance.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and peer reviews for accuracy and consistency.
• Identify data quality issues and edge cases; escalate as needed for process improvement.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Operations to deliver secure datasets.
