Job summary

Baltic Apprenticeships, in partnership with Elygra, invites applicants to join as an AI Automation Practitioner Apprentice. You’ll gain hands‑on experience designing and testing workflow automations, using Make, and working with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini.

The programme leads toward the Business Analyst Level 4 apprenticeship, with mentorship and training, and a mix of online learning and real projects to build competence in AI‑driven process improvement.

Job description

Baltic Apprenticeships are delighted to be working in partnership with Elygra to offer an exciting opportunity for an AI Automation Practitioner Apprentice to join their innovative team. This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to develop practical experience in AI, automation and emerging technology, helping Elygra identify ways to improve business processes and create smarter, more efficient ways of working. You'll gain hands‑on experience designing and testing workflow automations, working with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, developing and refining prompts, and exploring creative AI solutions across voice, image and video. You'll also support the development of AI‑powered prototypes, document processes and help colleagues make effective use of new AI technologies. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and the Baltic Apprenticeships team, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career at the forefront of AI and automation. In this role, you'll work towards your AI for business automation apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Designing and building workflow automations: Create, configure and test workflows using Make, connecting third-party applications and APIs to automate repetitive business processes and prototype AI-powered solutions.
  • Prompt engineering and AI testing: Develop, test and refine prompts across AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini to improve the accuracy, consistency and usefulness of AI-generated outputs.
  • Analysing business processes: Review existing workflows and ways of working to identify repetitive, inefficient or time-consuming tasks where automation or AI could improve productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Developing AI-powered solutions: Use creative AI tools, including the agency's internal Aimee AI platform, to experiment with AI-generated voice, image and video solutions and support the creation of client prototypes.
  • Supporting AI-assisted development: Work with tools such as Claude Cowork and Claude Code to assist with prototyping, testing and development of AI-enabled solutions, under appropriate guidance from colleagues.
  • Managing data and project workflows: Amiee to manage datasets, track projects and organise information that supports automation, AI and client projects.
  • Documenting processes and solutions: Produce workflow documentation, technical briefs and clear instructions so that colleagues and clients can understand how automations and AI solutions work.
  • Researching emerging technology: Keep up to date with new AI tools, automation technologies and industry developments, assessing how they could potentially benefit the agency or its clients.
  • Supporting colleagues with AI adoption: Help colleagues understand and use AI tools effectively by providing guidance, demonstrations, training and day-to-day support.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team., In this role, you will be working towards the Business Analyst Level 4 apprenticeship programme. This apprenticeship equips you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become a trusted AI & Digital Champion within your organisation. You'll develop expertise in analysing business processes, interpreting data, and using digital tools and AI technologies to drive improvement and innovation.

With a mix of online learning, real-time classes, and one-to-one support, you'll gain hands‑on experience in projects that enhance efficiency, implement digital solutions, and improve decision-making. This programme will help you understand how to collect requirements, communicate insights, and lead change initiatives, preparing you for a pivotal role in shaping the digital future of your business.

  • £16,926.00 to £19,828 Per annum - National minimum wage for your age.
  • Fully office based
  • Monday to Friday 9am till 3pm
  • 25 days annum leave + Bank holidays
