Job description
AI Automation Engineer
Who we are

We're doxy.me (doc-see-me), the world's most loved telemedicine solution, and we're on a mission to connect the world to the future of healthcare. We believe that cost and complexity should never be a barrier to telemedicine. That's why we created a simple, free, and secure telemedicine platform. Since 2013, we've grown to more than 1 million healthcare providers from 180+ countries who have clocked over 8 billion minutes of telemedicine sessions to date. Our goal is to deliver the future of healthcare to every patient and healthcare professional on earth. Help us get there by joining our team of innovators, dreamers, and doers. We're a remote‑first company with regional hubs for in‑person collaboration (Austin, TX, Boston, MA, Charleston, SC, Salt Lake City, UT & London, UK).

Who you are

We're seeking an AI Automation Engineer who is passionate about building and maintaining internal automation tools and intelligent workflows to streamline engineering processes using AI, like Large Language Models (LLMs) to identify inefficiencies, develop AI‑powered solutions, and bridge the gap between AI's potential and practical business impact, freeing up teams for more strategic work.

What you'll do
  • Build automation tools: Develop and maintain tools that automate repetitive tasks in engineering workflows, such as bug triage, code quality checks, and automated testing pipelines using tools like Selenium.
  • Design AI workflows: Implement intelligent, agentic workflows using LLMs and other AI frameworks to make decisions that traditionally required human intervention.
  • Support CI/CD: Build and maintain integrations between Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and other internal systems.
  • Collaborate with teams: Work with QA, engineering, and operations to ensure automation tools are secure, maintainable, and scalable.
  • Bridge the gap: Act as a partner to teams to help them adopt automation‑first approaches, enabling non‑technical employees to automate processes themselves.
  • Monitor performance: Own core metrics infrastructure and automate the delivery of insights on engineering performance and bottlenecks.
Your skills and experience
  • Programming: Experience with relevant programming languages, often including those used for automation and AI.
  • AI and Machine Learning: Understanding of how to apply and integrate pre‑trained models and AI tools, and how to work with frameworks like LLMs.
  • Automation Frameworks: Proficiency with automation and AI workflow platforms.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to work with large datasets, design data pipelines, and analyze metrics.
  • System Architecture: Knowledge of CI/CD, build infrastructure, and how to build scalable and maintainable systems.
What we can offer you
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Private medical, optical and dental healthcare through AXA
  • 5% matched company pension
  • Remote working – we have recently secured a small flexible office workspace in London Liverpool Street (here). Our current expectations are for teams to meet once per month in office; we would still anticipate a remote dominant environment going forward.
  • Company equipment (inc. latest laptop) + £500 spending allowance on equipment you can keep
  • A great, supportive culture
Interview process
  • 1st stage – Chat with our internal recruiter
  • 2nd stage – Hiring Manager interview
  • 3rd stage – C‑Suite
