Job summary

Clear. is seeking an experienced HVAC Commissioning Engineer to join a field-based team across the West Midlands. You will commission, service and fault-find on AHUs, CRAC units, fan coil units and related controls, ensuring safe, efficient operation on customer sites.

The role requires strong commissioning experience, willingness to learn across product ranges, and a full UK driving licence. Overtime opportunities and a supportive development path are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC commissioning and fault-finding.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and associated controls.
• Ability to diagnose issues and optimise system performance.
• Willingness to develop knowledge across different HVAC product ranges.
• DBS clearance, or willingness to obtain one.

Job description

Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Commissioning Engineer to join a growing field-based team across the West Midlands.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer with strong commissioning and fault-finding experience who wants to work across a broad range of HVAC equipment and continue developing their technical skills.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for commissioning, servicing, fault-finding and optimising HVAC equipment on customer sites, ensuring systems are operating safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You’ll work across equipment including:

• Air Handling Units (AHUs)
• Close Control Units / CRAC Units
• Fan Coil Units
• HVAC controls and associated equipment

You’ll also complete site risk assessments, support customers and identify opportunities for additional works where appropriate.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in HVAC commissioning and fault-finding
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and associated controls
• Ability to diagnose issues and optimise system performance
• Willingness to develop knowledge across different HVAC product ranges
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces
• F-Gas / City & Guilds 2079 / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent – desirable
• Electrical qualifications or experience – advantageous
• DBS clearance, or willingness to obtain one
