Zusammenfassung

Avara Foods Ltd is seeking a Talent and Development Officer to design and deliver talent pathways across our Agriculture Division, building sustainable pipelines for farms, mills, hatcheries and support functions.

You’ll collaborate with HR, Resourcing and development teams, promote Avara as an employer of choice, and engage with colleges, universities and industry bodies to attract and retain talent. This role requires travel across Agriculture sites and a Monday–Friday 08:30–17:00 schedule.

Qualifikationen

• Experience developing talent pipelines, career pathways or early careers initiatives for specialist, operational or hard-to-fill roles.
• Experience building relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including colleges, universities and training providers.
• Experience in talent attraction, candidate engagement, hiring support or workforce planning, ideally within agriculture, food manufacturing, farming or a related sector.

Aufgaben

• Work with Agriculture leaders to understand workforce requirements and develop attraction and succession plans
• Collaborate with Resourcing and Communications to create engaging role adverts and attraction materials
• Liaise with and support resourcing on hiring activity, offers, onboarding and pre-employment compliance
• Build relationships with agricultural professionals, industry groups, colleges, universities, schools and training providers
• Represent Avara at agricultural shows, careers events, industry conferences and networking opportunities
• Support graduate, placement, apprenticeship and internship pathways with HR, Resourcing and Development teams
• Partner with Agriculture Managers to align talent pathways with business priorities
• Share labour market insights to support workforce planning and development
• Identify opportunities to improve attraction activity and employer branding, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and policy
