Imagine stepping into farmers' lives during their toughest moments: From peril related damage to an isolated farmhouse, a hailstorm wrecking crops, a barn fire destroying a barn and farm equipment, livestock lost to disease and a wide range of diverse activities as the rural community reacts and evolves to modern times and ways of working. You'll be the reassuring presence amidst the chaos, building relationships with customers agricultural agencies and brokers then returning to your desk at Sedgwick or your laptop at home to compile a comprehensive reports, managing claims from cradle to grave in accordance with client requirements. We will consider candidates with no loss adjusting experience but with the right attributes and qualifications. The role may especially appeal to claims handlers currently in office based/desktop roles who wish to expand and develop their skills, experience and career. # **The skills you will have when you apply:** * **A full UK Driving Licence:** It is essential you can travel by car* **Agricultural insurance knowledge:** It would be beneficial if the applicant had an understanding of agricultural businesses, farm property and a good awareness of the rural community.* **Excellent communication skills:** You'll speak with and write to Policyholders, Insurers, contractors, and more.
